I hope your office kitty is OK ...

Checkers is on my lap right now. He seems unconcerned that I have to water my plants outdoors, scoop the litter boxes, take a shower and dress, and pack my car by 10 a.m.

I am not sure what will happen with the office kitty. She has finally warmed up to me as I was taking care of her the other day when we had her here. Saturday we had to pick her up from the office and take her to the vet for labwork and urinalysis.

The electricity was out when we went up there due to the storms we had last Friday night so we brought her home. He had to bathe her because at the vet when they squeezed her for the urine they just shoved her back into the crate when they were done, but she wasn't done!

The poor thing was covered in pee. So he bathed her and threw the crate in the tub and left it there. We left her in the bathroom because our kitty doesn't like other cats.

She got into the crate I am guessing because she was scared. Covered in pee again. The cat is not very familiar with me but I changed my clothes and took her into the kitchen and bathed her in the kitchen sink. She never once scratched me or ran away, and I soothed her and talked to her just like she was my kitty.

MY kitty was upset with us for 2 days. I got her dried off and wrapped her in a dry towel and put her on the couch that my kitty never gets on and he saw her move around and he was freaking out.

He was finally our friend again on Monday. Right now he is just laying across my sweeties lap...... It looks like he is reading his PC World magazine. Too funny. When I am sitting over there with my laptop he sits with me, squeezing his oversized self up there and puts his paw on the mouse.... Gotta love him
