Callie has finally been accepted by the other cats. Phaedra took the baby under her wings and plays with her and grooms her head. Phaedra also acts like a mother cat at times just watching Callie play, like she's proud of her or something. Zephyr avoids her and Zebulon has grown used to her and no longer fears her. They were playing "chase" the other day. She went by chasing him... then they went by with him chasing her.
She likes the crows nest in the sunroom.
The kitty condo is another favorite place for her naps.
Hooray! Good things come to those who wait, and all that.
Callie is such a cutie!

A popular game in our house as well, especially up the stairs, down the upstairs hall to the far bedroom, up and across the bed, back down the upstairs hall to the stairs, and back down the stairs.
I get exhausted just watching them! But it's good to see them playing and chasing.
Thank you for the great pics - she is darling. I'm happy they all decided to become buds - I predict she and Zeb will become best buds eventually!!! She looks healthy and happy, and it think it was meant to be.
There for awhile the household was in chaos. Things have settled down and Callie is now one of the family. Zebulon will even eat at the feeding mat with her now. I had to feed him separately for awhile. This is just a plastic mat from PetSmart to protect the floor from catfood and spills. Each has their own bowl. I hadn't planned on getting another cat anytime so soon. But how could I just leave her there in the parking lot to be run over or grabbed by a predator, or ...*GASP*... taken to the high-kill shelter in a nearby town?
The cat porch on the RV. They go in and out the bedroom window. It's the same cage the girls ride in on long trips. That's Zebulon on the middle shelf. It's removed from the RV and put in the tow van when we're on the move.
Aww, what a sweet little girl. Glad your kitty family is coming together and the others are more accepting of her now!!!!
