if they are anything like my cats two bowls would not make any difference. It seems to be a game of "I can eat out of your bowl, so there!"

Ha! At first it looks like they're sharing pretty well. Then at the end they're pulling it back and forth while barely getting a bite in.
Another bowl would be good, but the reality is they may well do this anyway. There may already have been two bowls and the other one is empty somewhere.
