I certainly don't ASsume everyone is out to harm animals. I read the article and watched the video. It was the soldier who said he suspected abuse. I support our troops. My father served in WWII. However, not all military are upstanding and moral. There are always a few bad apples in the bunch.

I am so glad this cat is getting a second chance.

So tell us about the US army bases there. Tell us how, by some magic, that there are only 100% kind caring and loving people on these bases who would never harm a hair on a cat's body... and if the Peruvians and Bulgarians and Albanians and Canadians and Aussies on the bases who dared harm a cat or dog, were stopped immediately by an American soldier. Clue us in.

Indeed. And he would know.

On another Forum there's a man who defends all known atrocities done by our own military. Even those well known atrocities done in Vietnam to civilian woman and children. Bad apples and those who get sick gratification from abusing or killing cats and dogs are everywhere. From the slums of inner cities to high-income neighborhoods to the armed services. Sociopaths and psychopaths can be found everywhere.

Me too, and he really seems to love the cat.
