There is no way I could have done that with Mickey, his fine fur even made my skin itch. My eyes blew up, puffy, red, watery, I was almost at a point of needing an inhaler once, I went into an asthma attack while brushing him.

After that, I never brushed him. He went to the groomers religiously, I took allergy pills.

What is interesting, I was never allergic to cats, then I turned about 18, and became terribly allergic, but we kept our cats, my allergies are much less now, I lived through the worst, and got better. I think too many people bail on cats when they get allergic. You can still have a cat, and the allergies get better.

Anyways, the groomer did a good job. Zu Zu was happy to see me when I picked him up and I might go with Jasper's advise
