I love all animals, domestic and wild, but cats are my favorite. We have had some really great dogs over the years, most notably a German Shepard and a Doberman, I loved them a lot. But cats are just different somehow. Maybe it is their independent nature or their sense of humor...........I know ours keep me laughing the whole time I am around them.
My Sons grew up loving animals too and both of them have their own cats. Don has two and Dan has Chewy, who lives with us. Chewy loves me, but as soon as Dan comes around I am forgotten and he runs to be with Dan. Here they are taking a nap together.......Chewy always has to have a paw or two on your head when he is sleeping.
Took me awhile to find this photo but it finally came to me.
I love Mark Twain!

Ernest Hemmingway, Jack Kerouac, and Bill Clinton were all cat lovers. I'm crazy about my little Mindy May and not at all afraid to show it.
I like dogs, but I actually prefer cats. They're so low maintenance.
