Well, Little Charlie isn't really so little anymore. =) Within the past week or so, KK has gotten back to his normal behavior. He has been doing ok with Charlie here, but he wasn't getting in our laps as much like he used to, or sitting on my desk when I was on the computer. When he would and Charlie would come along, he would just get down.

Now KK is getting on our laps and my desk, and he is holding his ground and staying there.

Today is a very nice day out and I have the windows open and they are loving it! I forgot about the window where KKs perch is and went and opened that and he jumped right up, sunning himself and sniffing the air.

Here comes Charlie barreling in. I figured he would get KK out of his way but KK stayed put. Charlie got up and down a few times and sat with him for a little while.

I think they have made wonderful progress. Not that they weren't doing well before, but I like that Kitty Katty is back to his old self, because his old self was so wonderful.

Charlie gets neutered next month. Maybe that will calm him down some! (I doubt it though!)

Awww.....I see who gets dibs on the front row seat though!!!! Seniority still matters somewhere I guess. The old KK was always there - I think he just stepped aside from his spotlight for a while to give a healthy nudge to his new little brother and make sure he gets him trained just right. Mission accomplished, now carry on!!! I'm glad he's feeling so comfortable in his skin again!!! I also have my doubts as to whether Charlie's pending snip will calm him down any - my four youngest ones are all boys - and all are still full of **** and vinegar (in a good way)!!! I gotta tell ya - I was at Petsmart yesterday and they have their Halloween costume stuff out already and I stood there looking - they had a little bunny one that caught my eye - complete with a tiny carrot in the paw - imagining you know who wearing something alluring and adorable. Have to start Charlie out soon so he can join in the fun!!!!!
PS.. Michael's and also Target had a bunch of stuff out too.

Charlie does not like to wear hats or anything of the like. I put KK's cowboy hat on KK yesterday and he did just fine, just sat there purring. I tried it on Charlie and all hell broke loose!

They are very different in that respect!

Halloween time last year was the first time I tried KK with anything. I really still can't believe he doesn't mind it!!!

That is a kitty perch I got for KK off of Amazon. I feel like I wanna maybe get another one. I have a feeling Charlie may get pretty big and I am sure they both wanna be up there and will not both fit!

I just noticed a piece of cat hair dried on one of my nails I painted earlier. I am not sure if I will tell SO about that one or he will for sure call me a crazy cat lady for the rest of my life! :P

Amazon.com: K&H Kitty Sill Deluxe Bolster Cat Bed, 14-Inch by 24-Inch, Tan Kitty Print: Pet Supplies

We have the cushion on so it is opposite the picture so the kitties can lay in it without fear of falling off while they are asleep!

If I tried to dress up Sushi, it would make me very glad to live in a country with universal healthcare. A trip to the ER would be inevitable.

Thank you!

I tried putting things on KK around last Halloween because I saw some things at PetsMart. I figured he would just freak out, but he didn't! He just sat there purring!

He has two, but at some point in time before we got him, the other one was chipped. If you watch the video, there are a few pictures that show it.

Now he has a little brother Charlie, so I suppose Charlie will have to have a video one of these days too!
