This is how I feel today ...
... 'cause my kitties are all lazy lumps of fur out on the screened porch! It's 70s and sunny right now -- just a wonderful Saturday afternoon. It's been getting cooler AND I'm back at work now (sometimes gone 12+ hours in a day) so the kitties haven't had access to the porch in the past few days -- they are making up for that today!
What are YOUR kitties up to?

My three girls and I just came in from three hours of a wonderful early fall afternoon in our fenced yard. The sun, tree frogs and insect sounds, with a light playful breeze, made it all just perfect. The two older cats were ready to come in when I said it was time, the youngest was stalking a chipmunk. She was positive she had it cornered in the storm drain even though I pointed out the escape route to her and showed her the chipmunk mocking her from the other side of the fence.
It was, actually, the noise of the chipmunk that made me decide it was time to come in. The chipmunk wanted the yard and wasn't going to shut up until we gave it to him. An annoyed chipmunk makes more noise than you might think.

Catdad7x, I am sensing a pattern!
Catsmom21, sounds like you and your girls had a fun afternoon! I am really savoring these wonderful fall days ... before it gets cold!!
I just closed the porch for the evening but haven't seen Quinn ... will have to go do a search and rescue if I left him out there!
