He could possibly be having some tendon issues also.

My poor Kitty Katty. She gave him some pain medication by way of injection. She is going to send his films to a radiologist to see if he sees something she may not see so they can further treat him.

She will not be in the office tomorrow but wants to know how he is doing and how the medication helped him so she gave me her home number to call her in the morning.

I was laying on the floor with him rubbing his paws last night and apologizing to him for someone having done that to him. =(((

Awww...poor baby....You tell him that we all love him just the was he is and we don't think he needs to have any remodeling work done!!! For all the folks out there who still think declawing is the best answer so they can have a nice couch - I hope they read this and realize that the after effects can go on for years. That's just sad - and it makes me wonder if he remembers how much he hurt when that happened to him before. He probably thinks it's happening again. I know you'll take wonderful care of him, hope the pain meds make him feel better. He is so very lucky to have such a wonderful catmama and dad. Thank you for the update. I hope there is a long-term fix for him so he isn't in constant pain.

I hope he will be ok.... the vet told me something about cats who have been declawed having phantom pains just like a person who has lost a limb.

You know we have not had the first problem with Charlie clawing on furniture. I know that is not to say that no one has a cat who does it. Lord knows when I was a kid we had 2 cats and our couches were all torn up.

I hope people understand it too.... I saw his x rays and you can see the areas where there is still bone here and there where the vet was trying to remove it and didn't.

KK is still limping tonight but he is getting around with more ease, most likely due to the shot. I don't know what the answer to all of this is but I will keep everyone up to date.

Oh, poor KK! Too bad you couldn't have been his original mom, and none of this would have happened.

Somewhere along the way I missed that KK had been declawed. So very sorry that some ignorant person did that to him, and that he may be paying for it now. I hope your vet can do something to help him. The subject of declawing makes me really, really angry. But I wont go on a rant about it here.... you don't need that right now. Give KK a kiss for me, and thanks for the update.

I left a message at my vets home this morning letting her know that KK has been moving more at ease looking, but still with the limp. She wants to try and figure out if it is in the actual mechanics or something else.

So, the limp is still there but he is moving easier. I don't know how to explain that. He has been not very active today, and the medicine would have worn off early this morning. It lasts for 12 hours. I expect to hear back from her once the radiologist reads his films.

She is really good about getting back with me and checking on the kitties. She asked about Charlie the other day when we were in after he had those seizures. Also called a couple of days after it happened to see how he was.

I was very distressed when I read this until I saw the pictures of you and KK together - I'll relax now because KK always has the best treatment and care possible from you. Please keep us updated but I firmly believe the news will be good!
