Crunchies for Gretel
Crunchies for Gretel
Gretel loves crunchies
And I love Gretel
Yes, I sing to Gretel as I give her crunchies ... but I have an excuse, I've been up since 10 pm yesterday and didn't get home from work 'til a bit past 3 pm ... so I'm punchy, ok?
Good Lord no. I do enough things to annoy my cats already without trying to sing to them. My questionable singing talents would probably send them into a mutiny, and I would go to sleep at night at my own peril. At the very least I would be disowned for sure.

I love this.
Can't say I made up a song for Mimi yet, but sometimes I'll rap Twiztid to her or sing heavy metal songs to her. I get heavy sighs and then she just stares at me, haha.
I usually sing songs with their names inserted in them here and there. For some reason, they're mostly songs from my parents' or grandparents' era. An old song called "Beautiful Dreamer" has morphed into "Beautiful Patty, Mommy's best girl.." for instance. And when my youngest was a kitten, I did used to sing a little song I made up, called "I Like Forks". My boys don't seem to care about my singing one way or the other. Patty, typically, likes it until she's had enough noise, and then she's liable to start growling. Like a good mom, I shut right up at that point.
Glad I'm not alone in this!
Oh, and Karen and ouijeewoman, I love your kitty songs!
