My cat and celery. (eating, food, olive, floor)

My cats are weird.

Lovable, but weird.

Made a salad yesterday with some celery. The celery leaf fell on the floor, and my one of my cats very carefully inspected it. Over and over. She was still inspecting it, so I left it there, and quite honestly forgot all about it until this morning. Was making breakfast and lunch for work, and the celery leaf was still there. The cat POUNCED on the leaf as I was about to pick it up, and then she started rolling on it, purring, going crazy, much as she does with cat nip! She was still doing this as I left for work.

Anyone else have cats that go crazy over celery?

Now that I've never heard of. LOL Our Sadie likes to play with green olives, and then she'll eat it after she's done playing. But I think a celery leaf is more unusual than that.

The only people food my cats freak out about is yogurt. They smell it when I'm eating it, and they're all over me begging for a taste.

Yes, cats are weird. But we love them anyway.
