I've lived with cats most of my life, but don't recall this happening before:
occasionally (not often) kitty's nose runs- clear liquid.
Could she have a cold or allergy?

In all the years I've been around cats, the only time I've seen nasal discharge was when they had an URI (respiratory infection). That may not be the only possible cause, just the only one I've had experience with. What you describe doesn't sound like a URI (no eye discharge), but might be wise to get her looked by your vet.
Hope it's nothing serious.
