I agree with the comment that she should have to spend 35 nights there. Or more time in jail. We need judges who recognize what a serious crime animal abuse is.
Woefully poor reporting. How did the woman come to be in possession of 35 kittens? Certainly not from a single litter. How did any of them come to have identity tags with the woman's name or phone number on them if they were left at the door? Way too many unanswered questions to comment intelligently on the matter.
Not one of those commenters tumbled onto the obvious missing facts. Sad.
Another "Rescuer" who just turned out to be a hoarder. Happens more than we realize. This fool wasn't too bright if she let all those or any of them have her I.D. on them.

That link just brings up a bunch of screeching people, some literally threatening to kill her. There are no facts, nor is there any petition that I can see.
More importantly, petitions don't equal facts. Responsible reporting, an anomaly these days, should present easily verifiable facts, along with prevalent opinions and the names of those offering them, along with their bona fides.
People who hoard are mentally ill. If she is or was a cat hoarder, then it seems likely the judge sentenced a mentally ill person to spend the night in the woods for being mentally ill. Did you think of that?
sorry- I just clicked the link and got what I originally posted. "read petition letter".
she had a rescue in her basement which got out of hand and admitted to making 2 trips to the woods.

It was a Promoted Story from ABS News on my FB feed and when I checked it further I figured it was a typo. In fact I still think it was. In any event, sorry you are having so many problems with it and you are welcome to just skip it and anything else you don't like.
