I was going out to dinner and for the evening the other night. Earlier in the day one of my cats had caught a mouse, and when I left all of them were sitting very attentively staring at spots. When I got home they were still staring, but different spots, and nobody even noticed mom was home. When I got up they were all sleeping and looked very tired. But NO mice showed at all that day. None. Zero. When I fed them they seemed like they'd already eaten.
Considering the several sacks of food I had to toss from the lower cuppords due to mouse mess or holes, my kitty comandos can continue to do their job.
Somebody told me that because it has been so dry, the mice are coming in looking for water. That would explain why the water dish had mousy poop in it.
