Great news & thanks for the update.

Francis is certainly a handsome fellow, and looks like he made the right choice picking his humans.

Outstanding! Their name deserves a mention even if no donations from any of us come of it.
Here's hoping all of Francis' troubles have, you know, passed. From the looks of him you'd have never known he was sick.

Totally agree. Maybe, OP, consider making a post on their facebook or other social media page? Even if it doesn't end up in donations, it may very well end up in more animals being adopted out. Some people are nervous about adopting animals from shelters because of this issue. To know that the shelter will work with adopters like this is a good thing to know.

He is gorgeous!

I'm so pleased you took care of him without question! I'm glad I'm not the only kind person in the world (great news too on the bills)

My shelter kitty had an URI when I brought her home but very common methinks and it passed most readily. Wasn't serious like Sir Francis' sitch.

So nice to hear such good news.

PS: My shelter kitty is 11 and has been 100% healthy in the 10 years I've had her after that initial URI.
