we set out to buy only one but the breeder had 32 THIRTY TWO cats in her house- about 3/4 of them kittens and I simply could not pick only 1 so we got brothers.

Now that pic is a shining example of just how rough of a life housecats really have (and if you don't believe that, just ask them).
Always enjoy seeing your beautiful kitties NK. Give 'em a kiss for me.
Don't know if it's a 'female thing' or not, but my offender is a ladycat, so....
The really bad part is that she digs all the litter out of the corner before she pees there, and then doesn't cover it up. So there's not much litter there to clump, and the wet goo plugs up my scooper every time.
I've tried (in vain) to discuss the issue with her a few times to no avail. I suspect she uses her Feline Selective Hearing Function whenever I bring up the subject.
But I look on the bright side... at least she pees in the box.
Sorry to revive this thread for an off-topic, but this post stuck in my head because I recently started having issues with wet goo stuck to the bottom of the box. It started when I began using a particular lightweight litter that I like in every other respect but was about to give up on. Then last week I found this thing, and boy does it help!

The scoop I have is actually similar to that one (also a metal one), and normally works quite well. But it gets clogged up to easy if there's not enough litter in the clump. That's the main problem I think. She digs all the litter away before she pees, then doesn't cover it up. I'm going to try a different litter and see if that helps, but I'll keep that new scooper in mind. Thanks for the link.
I was using aluminum scoops also, that were looking like I'd slathered wet cement on them after I cleaned the litter box. And it was hard to get off even when I had just finished scooping. But the teflon made all the difference, both with scraping and wiping the scoop clean.

And the first time she does not pee in the box, you are being told to button your lip and drop the subject.
