Cats Pride. I have tried almost everything and I think this works best for me. I called walmart and their "premium" litter was manufactured/packaged by the makers of Cats Pride. I had noticed it looked almost identical so my detective skills were peaked. I have never had luck with scoopable litters. I find them a pain because the little granules track everywhere. And to be honest, no matter how good I am with cleaning out the box and making sure there is enough litter, there is always some that turns to cement on the bottom of the box. I do not care for it.

Fresh Step is good and the price is a lot more reasonable I find compared to some of the other brands.

It smells in the box moreso than the other brands, but does an excellent job of not letting the smell spread throughout the house.

I use a clumping cat litter from Walmart that is marked for "immediate odor control". It works really well, and it's only around $7 for a 22Kg box.

Tidy Cats here. I tried clumping litter once, but like the previous person stated, the tiny little pieces got tracked all over the house.

Feline Pine. I just last week tried the clumping type, but the tiny grains (like fine salt) got all over the whole house. I threw it away , the whole entire new box. I hadn't realised that it looked like that.

I tried Feline Pine, but it turned to this muddy sawdust consistency when it was peed on (by the cat, not by me btw).

Scoop Away. It last for a month and absorbes odors well.
