I have heard that when it comes to being adopted, black cats tend to be at the bottom of the list. I have one and am fostering another but so far, no takers on the adopter side (but it is only the end of the first weekend).
I'm a witch of a sort, a good witch (I'll have to add Glenda to my list of potential names), as I have often said about my surrounding forest.

Our daughter adopted a black a black cat in 2004. She was living in a small apartment ad couldn't keep her so we got Bianca. None of us are witches, or warlocks or mystics. Bianca is as sweet a kitty as you could want.
Nope, not in my little corner of the world. Had one all black cat (plus two Tuxies) and he was just and all around perfect cat. I'm sorry to say I am a mere mortal, so no witches or warlocks here.
I've never understood those who pick a cat based on its coloring. We have a tuxedo (black and white) and he's a love bug. We aren't witches but we do enjoy Halloween movies. LOL
