Actually, our town doesn't have a mayor. The kids at the grade school had a fundraiser that you could nominate a "pet mayor" for a donation. After all the pets were nominated, then the kids voted. So, it was the kids would naturally vote for the goat (get it? Kids-goat ).

Those kids have good taste in politicians. Maybe there's hope for the country after all.

Oh, I don't know. Goats are pretty cute, and they don't take no crap from nobody.

I tried to upload a pic of him that I took of him walking in our Spring Fling parade 2 weeks ago. But, it wouldn't upload. His name is Lincoln.

My love bug Hansel has been keeping secrets! I had no idea he had political aspirations! And what if his prospective constituents saw THIS photo?!

He's got my vote! I can briefly enroll in a local college so then I can vote, no worries!

That's a good idea. Pets for politicians. Spot for mayor. Marmalade for governor. Happy for Sheriff.....

You guys are great! I'm in my home office and Hansel is, as usual, hanging out with me. I tried to get a picture of him looking at the computer screen with his picture in the OP but wasn't fast enough!

I THINK I've talked him out of politics! I enjoyed the other posts/stories, though, especially the one about the goat.

Too bad. He could run on issues like legalization of catnip, more laps, more naps, a litter box in every room, and can use the slogan, "I'm with fur." (Ok, confession. I stole a few of those. )

Probably a good idea, Karen. His "all dogs are cat toys" agenda would cause some issues, no doubt. We're politically divided enough as it is.
