This account made me choke up. Bless you for fostering this precious girl. I cheered inside when she came out to play!

It sounds like things are going to work out well. You took a chance and put out the effort to help her when she needed it.... and she knows that. I hope it works out so she can be a permanent part of your family.
Thanks for the update.

OK
So we went back today She still needs meds so she is with us for another two weeks. Her resp infection is almost gone but she still needs eye meds

We had noticed some odd behaviors of her the last two days.
Turns out she was not fixed as we thought.....she is in Heat!

So Miss Allie spent a week in heat, now she seems over her illnesses. MEDS are done.

She is very hyperactive at times. I noticed that she loves to run up and down the stairs. I joked that I was going to enter her into the cat races. She still does not like being held and she wants to be touched only on her terms.
We do not know who owned her in the past or if she was a stray cat that was brought into the shelter. We don't know how people treated her in the past. So we give her leeway and Space to be her own cat.

She moves back on Thursday. Sadly the wife and I both have allergies and although the wife said we can keep her if we want to the vote was 4 to 0 against keeping her due to allergies and that she may FUNCTION better if she had ANOTHER cat in the house.
