Has anyone one of these trash cans (littergenie it Litter champ)? Sounds easy and great. Right now I am working with sandwich bags or I flush (wheat litter), but not sure if flushing is a long term solution.

Curious if you think they are worth it.

We have two Litter Genies. They are handy and we like them.

You have some options for the bags inside. There are off brand manufacturers of the bags that are much cheaper (check Amazon) and work just as well, so check those out. There is also an adaptor piece you can buy where you can use your own bags. I'm "meh" on the one we have. Some of the plastic bags just slip right out and it's rather annoying.

We've had the one probably 4-5 years. It gets heavy use (4 cats), as it's by the most-used litter box. It's starting to wear out, and the divider piece that drops down the clumps doesn't spring back as well anymore. But, for the amount of use it gets, we've been happy with it.

Just another option ... Littergenie is a good product ... but instead I have a diaper pail lined with a regular kitchen trash bag. I scoop into a plastic grocery bag (recycling that most-hated item) and drop the bag into the diaper pail.
