Screaming for no reason as she wanders the house. I have to shut her in my bedroom (where she thankfully has NOT done any extracurricular pooping/peeing), but it seems to calm her down for some reason. Maybe she needs some down time from you but feels compelled to hang around, like a toddler fighting sleep. Maybe give her the down time by putting her in the part of the house with her litter box and food/water during your normal working hours?
My cat, Woody, is going through separation anxiety since I've been away during the quarantine. Today marks seven weeks I've been at DD's to take care of my grandsons (oldest's school is closed). Son in law has an essential job and DD runs an essential business. DH (still at home) says Woody still searches the house for me, especially after I talk to him over the phone or do face time. When hears my voice, he meows pitifully. He and his older brother, Nobby, have taken to sleeping with DH who grudgingly started allowing it(he wouldn't have tolerated it before the pandemic). This has been hard on people and pets alike.
