I have a 5 month old kitten who ate strictly dry food when I got her. I like to also give my cats canned food in addition to dry. My plan was to give her about 1/4 can in the a.m. and p.m. She now screams for more and tries to eat my 8 yr old cat's canned food too. She scarfs it down like there is no tomorrow and looks for more. I raised it to 1/2 can 2x daily and she is still wanting more and will try to eat the other cat's food. I'm used to having cats that graze, walk away and come back for more when hungry. I think if I left two full cans, she would eat them both! She does graze on the dry Blue Buffalo and doesn't seem to overdo it. Any advice on the proper amount of canned food per day? She is at a very healthy weight and I want to keep it that way. Also, Is it normal for a kitten to be SO in love with canned food that they scream and run into the kitchen whenever they see me in there??
