Simply amazing.... and I have to ask (from a human point of view) how do they even do that? It's almost like they have the physical ability to lock their muscles in a certain position, while their little brains & the rest of them relax and go to sleep. I guess it's just another example of the many feline mysteries we'll never know the answer to.

My whole family studied this picture trying to figure out how this even happened. Did kitty simply plop her head down on the white chest? was something under her which was removed? Such a strange position but she certainly does not look stressed does she?

I've been studying this pic too, and I think there is a small ledge or shelf under the cat. Look closely and you can see the end of the white countertop just above the cats' head, and the bottles behind the cat have to be sitting on something, and maybe the cat is just hanging over the edge of it and you can't see it. (?)

I'm not sure why, but Daisy loves to be underneath things like blankets and carpets. If I am napping on the couch with a comforter over me, she climbs under it and dozes off. I would think it would be too hot under there, but she seems to like it.

I took this picture yesterday of her under the throw rug in the living room. She is always under there.

One of my girls is also a 'burrower'. Gypsy loves getting under the bedspread, chair covers, etc., even during warmer temps. I can always tell if she's doing some serious napping because that's when she's under cover. She's also the reason I have to use the 'Double Cover' method (1 tight & 1 loose) on the chairs & sofas. A bit of an extra pain at laundry time, but she's worth it... I guess.
