I hate winter in general for a variety of reasons, and homeless animals are right up at the top of that list.

I feel so bad for homeless or abused pets in the winter, especially up here in the North Country of New York. We just got 3 feet of snow in 2 days and I cant help but to feel bad for the ones left outside. My new cat that we adopted yesterday was found 2 weeks ago inside the local hospital parking garage, they said he was freezing cold & hungry but was out of the elements. But now he has a safe warm furrever home. Here he is with our other cat Milo laying in front of the window while it is snowing outside.

The vet sent me this picture of my mum's cat at the hospital, as feisty as ever. Cat seems to be doing better and eating. We'll see.

My dad had knee replacement surgery and was in the hospital for a few days. When he came home yesterday, Mimi just curled right up. She missed her man.

Sorry for the quality - cell phone pictures!
