^Posted back in January. Precisely as my prediction predicted, last week, as soon as some hot weather hit, she started sleeping in that box again. She's even gone in it a couple days since then when it's not been so hot. But prior to last week, she hadn't touched the thing since probably October.
That's interesting, and probably a bit unusual. Our cats always tended to lose interest in their boxes after they laid around for a while. Never noticed the seasons having much to do with it. But, cats are known to
be quirky so.......
These 2 are known as Mr Moo & Sugar Baby. They belong to my niece's grandchildren, the oldest of which named them. This pic was taken back in Dec'18 when they were around 4 months old or so.
This one is the recently rescued Gypsy that belong to my friends. He was very sick when they took him in 2 months ago, but they got him back to good health and he's a happy camper now. We're guessing he's about 6 months old or so.
This pic was taken when Gypsy decided to involve himself in our domino game. He was on the table for about half an hour, and we ended up actually playing over the top of him.
This one needs explaining. It's Gypsy again. I was using my digital camera and was trying to get a good mug shot of him. At the exact second I clicked the shutter, he did a head shake. The millisecond delay in the camera caught him mid-shake. This will give you an idea of how fast a cat can shake their head. My Canon digital can pretty much do stop-motion (to a point), but wasn't fast enough to freeze frame Gypsy.
Also look close and you can see Gypsy's face in the center of the blur.
