They really seem to like the hamper. The one likes to crawl in the dryer if the door is left open.
Most popular spot has been right next to the AC unit especially on some of the warmer days we’ve had here lately. It’s a favorite for all three of us
F lat on his back on the living room floor, one curled up looking out the sliding doors watching birds, one anywhere where the young one won't bug him. Behind doors, on the perch looking outside, different places.
Our two cats enjoy their cat condo, our chairs (the ones with soft cushions), our bed, the sofas, our clothes racks (with soft clothes in them) in our dark closets. Cats seem to enjoy places that are soft and places where they feel safe to sleep/nap.
Our older male cat likes hard surfaces in the summer. He likes to sleep on the hardwood floors, facing the sunset, in the warm, balmy summer afternoons.
Blaliko likes an empty box that I left on the living room floor just for her.
Seteria has a favorite spot on the couch where she can relax and groom for hours.
The window sill, looking at birds in the trees. They are indoor only. Of course anytime a new box or paper bag comes in the house, they have to be in it & on it. I have a mesh laundry bag & Mr Cheeky likes to pull that over & get n it, when it is empty or only has one small item in it. On hot days they will stretch under the ac vent, Of course they also like sofa & comfy chairs. Everywhere is theirs anyhow.
Ours are two 'old ladies'. They are sisters from the same litter. One likes to stay in the kitchen pretty much most of the time. She moves her favorite spot more frequently than her sister. Behind the microwave, in a corner next to a tall shelf, and recently, under the built in eat-in counter.
Her sister prefers the living room. A long time favorite place has been a windowsill. Last winter she pretty much lived on one arm of the sofa. Just the arm, she didn't want a cushion. Right now her favorite spot is a bookcase shelf. She has been trying out a small table the past couple of days, but hasn't committed to the move yet. We'll see.
They often enjoy a box or a bag and it's a favorite for a few days or a few hours.
There are three beds with eight bed pillows in my house. I am having problems finding a place for me to rent in them. They think the best place is, wherever my place to sleep is. I have full custody of 2 cat daughters and one cat son, who all want to pile in whatever bed I'm on and whatever pillows I use. I'm making a stuffed Halloween dummy in order to reserve a spot for me. Some nights, I sleep on my old army cot outside, and they eventually squeeze in on that too.

Nobby likes to lie on my bed or stretch out in the front yard grass where it's cool. Muffy seldom goes farther than her favorite chair on the front porch, but occasionally likes to lie under DH's rose bushes. One day a couple of weeks ago, a fly was pestering Muffy while she was napping on her chair...landing on her, flying off when she swatted at it, and coming back. DH caught her swatting and hissing loudly at it. Hissing at a fly that couldn't care less. I wish he'd taken a video.
