Every couple of days she gets very weird, like she can barely move, and she does this thing with her lips where she's trying to make noise but she's just moving her lips, after a few hours, she'll be able to get up and try to walk around but she acts like she's all drunk or something. hours after that, she's back to being her normal self. I cant seem to figure out what's going on with her, this is the third time now, we left her on the bed sleeping to go out scrapping and came back tonight to her acting this way. The first time I thought maybe it was the new soft food I got for her, and then the second time I thought maybe it was the bath and the new milk I put her on, but now I don't know what it is because we haven't bathed her in a few days, she's not eating that other food, and she's on reg. milk. she does have fleas, im thinking maybe that's what it could be because she's so tiny maybe she cant handle them. I dunno, but its very upsetting, maybe you know something more than me because you have a lot of animals and im sure you're very experienced with them.
also, the second time she got sick she was throwing up and ****ting... and she threw up a lil this time.

I'm sorry your kitty is ill. Could she have gotten into some sort of a toxin while you were out? Is she in the garage? What about houseplants, any sign she has been chewing on them?

I am not a vet, but I have always had cats. If you can't get her to a vet (and that would be my first advice) I would take her off the milk and try and get water into her instead. Also, go back to the food she is used to. Changing food suddenly can upset their system. Don't put any flea poison on her yet, try to get rid of them by bathing her (the fleas will drown) instead.

How old is she? Was she a stray?

I've seen a whole litter of kittens dead from fleas.

It might be the "reg. milk" too. That isn't what kittens need.

(Why isn't this thread in the Pets forum under Cats?)

Yeah, me too - those nasty fleas will suck them dry.

New poster, probably just did a search on cats. This is a really old thread.

edwardakerbyjr you might want to post this question in the Pets > Cats forum, you will receive a better variety of answers.

Good, now the thread is where it belongs!

I'd say it's time to take her to the vet and find out what's going on.
