I am typing and crying at the same time. It's a talent I didn't know I had. My very first cat died a few years ago because she was old, I was sad but it was her time.

My baby kitty, the one my older sister suggested my mother get me to help me through my eating disorder and i've had since he was a kitten. I had him for two years, and moved away, with every intention of getting him back at some point. he died about a week ago, i haven't been answering my mother's calls because i've been busy, she eventually called my boyfriend. he told me tonight.

he got hit by a car, my mom took him to the vet but there was nothing they could do. ive had a cat die before, my first cat but she was 20. i cried but i was okay because she was old and it was her time. i don't know what to do. i work at a pet store, i'm going to see dogs and cats that need homes. this sunday i'm working exclusively to get animals to be adopted. i'm taking both of my cats tomorrow to the vet to see how healthy they are, and my stray adopted cat to see how old she is, so i know how much time i have.

My condolences, Sakuda, on your loss. Our pets are like family. It hurts so much to lose such a wonderful companion.
