does anyone know of a no kill shelter in the johnstown pa area in case i cannot get my mother to take my cats till we find a new place... my landlord has decided that after 6 months of being able to have pets, i can no longer have them (and yes he knew because we were paying $20 extra per month to have them)

Was it in your lease that you could have them? And if so, is your lease up?

actually in my lease it says no pet allowed, however it also states that a microwave was supposed to be supplied with the apartment... wasnt, and he had told us we could have them, just the rent would go up... fortunatly our lease is up in april and we were already going to look for a new place because of the child we are getting ready to have, we need more room, but we wanted to wait till the lease was up

Your landlord is not allowed to do that. Keep the cats until April when you decide to move, unless you really don't want them and this is just an excuse to get rid of them.

But there are lots and lots of cats without homes, so chances of rehoming them are not good.

That doesnt seem fair, there's gotta be a way to get around it, would offer more $ since your lease is up in April which isnt that far off. Either that or bribe your mother, LOL! I hope it all works out, best of luck.

and believe you me woofers i do not want to get rid of my cats, they are my babies as far as im concerned, they play with me, cuddle with me, the one as i stated in another thread grooms me at night when i go to sleep... if there is any possible way for me to keep them, even if it means dropping them off at my mothers house for a month or so and then getting them back when we found a new place, id gladly do that, ive already asked my mother but she told me she has to think about it, i mean she has an office space thats separate from the rest of the house, so thats probably where they would go, but im perfectly fine with it if it means i can have my babys again as soon as we can

So sorry you have to face this. Even if your mother's cats don't like yours, cats will adjust to full-time living, not visiting. After a week or tow, things should settle down.
