I also agree with catgirl. Demonizing feral cats is not nice. The chickens are quite large, so a cat night not want to take them on. It would be different if thye were baby chicks, but egg laying hens can be quite aggressive & look after themselves.

Well said! And in all fairness, even dogs will kill chickens. My sister's lab mix has killed a number of my parents' chickens.

They are animals.
