Today my cat fell off the stool and into an empty trashcan.

That's hilarious! I'm sure the cat was the picture of injured dignity afterwards. I hope he/she wasn't hurt.

No he's fine. He falls out of windows sometimes.

He likes to climb in my lap, but one day he fell out of the chair and scratched up my arm. He's sitting in a stool a couple feet from me right now.

Sounds like he needs a seat belt - or maybe a little parachute.

I have a guy like that.
He has a kink in his tail and I thought that might be interfering with his balance.
But the vet didn't think so.
She said that just like people, some cats are graceful and some are clumsy.

Default Klutzy cats!

Exotic Retreat Bookcase/Room Divider : Target
I had a built in room divider that looks a lot like this. One of my cats loved to climb to the top corner of it to sleep. Only problem was that she liked to perch her butt in the top half of one of those L shaped spaces and stretch her paws down to the lower half of the L, resting her head against the side. It can't have been comfortable, looked like most of her body weight was supported by her head and front paws. Whats worse is that she lost her balance almost as soon as she fell asleep and fell off every time.
This went on nearly every day for a couple of months, until we decided that she must have addled her brains in one of those falls, because she never seemed to learn that sleeping there was not a good idea. I swear she looked surprised each and every time it happened.
We had to block it off for her safety. She must have never heard that cats are supposed to be graceful, LOL

Hahaha-we have a cat that is a TERRIBLE klutz. His name is Cosmo and he runs into doors and walls all the time when he's doing that kitty-crazy gotta run thing. He just shakes it off and goes on his merry kitty way.

I was sitting in my room reading and the cat startled me. He fell out of the window apparently.

Hell no! One of mine is EXTREMELY ungraceful. She falls off cat trees and bumps into everything. One thing that really bothers me is that she puts her butt on my face while I sleep. How ungraceful is that!!! I still haven't figured out why she does that. My feeling is that she seems to think of that as a sign of affection (??). I just get all creepy thinking how many unauthorized contacts my face has to endure every night while I am deeply asleep.... She is one of those stinky cats too....

lol, dont feel bad, Iggy falls off things all the time too. I swear that he must be drinking or something. It always cracks me up too, when he goes tearing around the corners and smacks into the wall, or into the kitchen only to smash into the table/chairs. He falls of the couch, his kitty condo, and has several times (including about 10 min. ago) into the toilet. He hasn't ever heard he's supposed to be graceful either. Gotta love that indignent look then the haughty walk off afterwards like 'I MEANT to do that!!" lol
