So... my wife was coming home from work and out of no where, a kitten is being chased by a dog. The cat jumps in front of the car almost being hit by my wife. The cat refused to move, so my wife took the kitten and looked around for its mother. No sight, looked around for anyone looking for the cat, no sight of anyone. She decided to take the, what looks to be 6 to 8 weeks old, cat home. I try to persuade my wife to not take strays home because of the large problem in the Phoenix area with strays. We can't save them all.

Anyway. Here is a picture of the cat chillaxin' in the bathroom, would any of you know what kind of cat this might be. I have seen this type of cat as an adult and they usually turn out to be very large, but i could be wrong.

Thanks.

I would name this cat "Witchypoo." Definitely agree that it is a DLHM (see above.)

Definitely a long hair, perhaps a Maine Coon? someone gave me a kitten that looked like yours, turned out to be a Maine Coon, very large, long haired, sweet tempered, loveable.

I think you've found yourself a keeper! And, legend has it that its good luck if a cat finds you, like this one did.
