Yes I know I am weird but every cat I've ever had likes to swing in my pants and/or underwear while I'm on the toilet. They do it to my husband too. It's kinda like "Oh goody, she's sitting down now to play with me."
Are we the only family with undie swinging cats?
Also my cats like to use the litter trays in the toilet area while we are using the toilet too. Kinda like the family that pees together stays together. I think it is funny. Am I giving too much info here? Too personal a topic?
My cat instantly knows when I'm sitting down on the toilet and comes running for attention but doesn't try to curl up in the clothes hammock that is formed. I know what you are talking about though we had a kitten a long time ago that was that way until she grew out of it.
EDIT: And yeah before I moved from my apartment into my house the litter box was on the other side of the wall right next to the toilet. They looked like stalls in a public bathroom. Quite frequently Tiggs would use his box when I was in the bathroom. Funny since he positioned himself to face out and we ended up side by side doing the bathroom etiquette thing... no talking, no eye contact, etc lol.
I have one who comes running when I go in the bathroom. He sits as close to me as he can, on the tub ledge when I'm in the tub. He also jumps up to the high window sill to look out sometimes.
I have no privacy in the bathroom, either. Even if I latch the door, they can work the handle by standing up on their little hind legs. If I lock it they'll scratch at the door or stick their little paws under the door. It's quite pathetic. *sigh* The only way to get the out of the bathroom is to turn on the shower. They hate that. Heh.
And while I'm sitting there ... BoyKitty will rub my legs and mew until I pick him up and put him up on the windowsill, which is too high for him to jump. GirlKitty will rub my legs and mew until I pick her up and pet her.
Either that, or they both jump into the bathtub and start fighting. Roooooowwwwwwwr. Argh ...
My two cats dont swing from my underwear but they love to steal my underwear and bras out of my closet at night.. They open the door up even if i find something to close it with and steal all my underwear and bras and the next morning i wake up and they are all over the house.. Its like an everyday thing. Its horrible. When im in the bathroom they wait outside the door for me or my bf. They will meow if we are taking a shower and dont put them in the bathroom with us. Cats are crazy!
