It's time to kitty proof our cupboards. Again. (sleeping, constantly, butt)

We have those baby proof lock things on the cupboards under the sink and below the counter, but miss Maddie figured out how to open the cupboard above the counter the other day.
LOL! I'm pretty sure that it is in every cat's job description that they have to crawl into cupboards whenever possible or they get kicked out of the Kitty Korps.
It looks like you don't have knobs on those cupboards? I actually had to resort to putting knobs on my doors then using child-proof locks that looked like old-fashioned bicycle locks. (They looped through the handles.)
Thanks for the photo. My laugh of the day!
p.s. Miss Maddie needs a bubble: "Who? Sweet little me?"
Dew: No knobs. S/O is going to rig something up this weekend. Good idea!
Glad you all got a good laugh. I did too. Of course I had to take the pic before I made her get down! I have another shot of Maddie behind the microwave that I'll have to post when I have time. Little stinker!
I have a cupboard magician too. He's quite partial to sleeping in one of the frying pans.
But he raised his "cupboard awareness" to a new level at about 05.00 hrs a morning or two ago. He figured out that if he open the door about two inches and then let go, it slammed shut. What a perfect noise to wake someone up with and let her know it's time for breakfast....
I am SO laughing at this! My Giz will get ANYWHERE, all she has to do is know it is there and she'll set her sights on getting there... so I KNOW what you are dealing with. I learned NOT to keep the catnip in the top cabinets or I couldn't keep her out of the cabinet.
Jack gets into everything no matter what, but your thread reminded me to get some dangerous stuff out from under the sink and put it in the garage where it belongs. Not that a cat is likely to be attracted to silver polish or spot remover.
Wilson: glad I could remind you to get the dangerous stuff out of the house Kitty-proofing isn't so easy sometimes! I'm constantly checking the house before I leave to make sure I haven't left anything out for them to get into.
