Since there has been so many litter threads lately and I promised to get back with everyone after I tested something new scrubbing out my litter pans (all 11------yes! I know I need more......my family keeps growing!) here I am.

The consensus is in! Original Dawn and Hydrogen Peroxide get a big thumbs up! I was using Dawn with bleach, but because bleach is so caustic to humans, animals and the environment, oh dang I can hardly type....just wrote to Odessa3............

(deep breath) I kept on looking for something better. And I did! Some of my pans smelled like locker room after the adolescent boys played hockey, with all dirty clothes on the floor! PU! I had FIVE brothers, FYI. Anyways, the pans came out beautiful without a scent of urine!

I highly recommend this combo! Squirt some Dawn on your scrubber sponge, and spray hydrogen peroxide in the box (yes, I put the hydrogen in a heavy duty sprayer). Before you do this though, wet the box down first with water to loosen anything that is left behind in on the bottom of the pan. Make sure you rinse well after you are finished scrubbing!

Hope this helps you guys!

Yep,

That stuff works well. I've been using it for ages. I use Bunga pads for skating - silicone sleeves- and let me tell you they collect a STINK. So I just wash after a good dampening soak in Dawn and Peroxide- no stink.
