I've used the Trader Joe's pine. It's a little harder-textured than Feline Pine, but otherwise just as good, and much less expensive. And I always use some Yesterday's News soft texture on top of the pine, so it's softer on their paws. But I will try also to find the "Tractor Supply Equine Fresh" that wilson1010 (above) mentioned.
