You are right. They will grow and grow. I went down to a nature center not far from Wichita. I happened to spot bobcat tracks. As soon as I get to my other computer I'll upload the pics of the tracks I took.

That is such a cute bobkitten! I don't think many grow to anywhere near 70 pounds, but they will still be a lot bigger than a domestic cat.

Bobcats and lynxes are gorgeous animals. I'm glad they were rescued and will have good lives!

That was a huge error, the newsource should have confirmed the facts. The average SC tom bobcats are 10-12kg (22-27 lb.) with any cat over 30 lb. considered large and not common. Females are 2/3 the weight of males. Because of the early bonding, the bobcats are not likely to harm their adoptive mother, but they could be too strong and rough when they engage in play with their cat brothers and sisters.

Thanks for the corroboration. I think some lynxes get bigger than bobcats, but not that big! Your honesty is appreciated.

Kittens are learning to hunt/kill when they play, so I can understand that a bobcat kitten might injure its domestic cat stepsiblings.
