Smartygurl, don't ask US for a name for your cat. Ask your baby! She will tell you IF you stop to listen. All of my cats told me their names. It takes some time, yet it depends on the cat herself. Good luck! I KNOW this method works, for I have done it time and time again!

Help! I just rescued a little feral kitten out from under a shed and need a name for her. She is a girl and is solid grey.
Yay! Good for you!
I once rescued a solid gray kitty and named him "Chico" which is Spanish for little boy. How about "Chica" since she's a little girl? (I'm prejudiced because Chico was a fabulous cat.)
Other than my two cents worth... I agree. Wait a while and then see what name fits. You'll probably come up with so many you'll need to figure out which one is "the one"!
Give her a few days to show you her character and then start thinking about something that fits her. I named one of my cats DC (Damned Cat) after just a week and I should've named the other one Evinrude because her purr is as loud as an outboard motor.
