Have you heard her new song? I heard it on the radio the other day and I thought it was decent. It actually made sense...maybe it's just the songs she does with YM that she rambles for no apparent reason.

I actually like the two songs I've heard off her album, which makes me wonder she doesn't sound like this all the time...

Chica, Rhi-who. She is falling into the abyss like Ciara. Only thing, Ciara has her nastee videos to keep her relevent.

It's popular where I live where the Young Money generation run the airwaves. I don't think it's a chart topper but it's decent. I was just shocked that the whole song made sense. Rhianna is old news. It's sad to say but she'll probably be more well known for getting beat up than her actual career. And the Ronald McDonald hair is not helping the cause at all.

You know I always wonder why people comment on Ciara's video...they weren't going to play Ride on MTV...but no one ever says Beyonce's videos are nasty. Video phone and Why don't you love me were pretty out there on the nastiness scale. How is one vulgar and the other artistic?

Can Nikki dance? I've never actually watched any of her videos long enough to see

I never said, Bee's "video phone" wasn't nasty. My opinion is, Ciara can't sing. She's an entertainer.

I didn't mean you specifically, your comment just made me think of that.

Rihanna isn't going anywhere, she has more #1 hits than Beyonce.

Nikki Minaj is only known to people who listen to hip-hop and people who listen to those pop stations that play a sprinking of hip-hop.

No problem. I'm not that sensitive.

I believe you and I were among some others talking about Bey on different threads.

On topic: I heard Nikki's single "I'ma Monsta". I love it. I wouldn't purchase the cd, but I enjoy her rap (at times). She created a new affect with her voice. Female rap artists have never done. It's unique.

Like I said, hopefully, she's not another "foxy brown". Great when featured.
