One of the few (only?) worth it comparatively. Not only can he act but I think he (after a bit of a rough patch) puts out a pretty good example of actor/job/individual who refuses to be corraled vs. famewhore/celebrity.

I don't care for his politics. But he is exceedingly good looking and a great actor for sure. Wasn't some mogul recently asking the super rich to give away 1/2 their "goodies" to the less fortunate? I.e. helping out the restribution of wealth.

Lots of celebrities make political comments that are stupid. Johnny Depp is no different.
But at the end of the day, I respect how he keeps his privacy and protects his children.
I love his choice of Vanessa Paradis who is one of my favorite singers...I have her CD's.
I think he is a great character actor with lots of talent.
And yes.....I think he's hot.
