As the story was reported, Jane lived in Santa Maria, California. She was a big time movie star, but for those who knew her, she was a great mother first. She was active in the community, she was a wonderful lady who will be greatly missed.

Default Jane Russell Tribute

R I P We have lost another legendary star , Jane Russell. Loved her Film Noir and dramatic roles. She was a very spiritual lady, who will be greatly missed.

That was the story at the time......either he designed it or had one of his engineers do it. It was designed especially for her to hold up her large breasts and display them in the most seductive manner. "The Outlaw" was every bit as "scandalous" for its time as Clark Gable's "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn" had been a few years earlier.

She was the guest of honor at Woodbury University for a fashion show years ago and I was lucky enough to meet her.

She was a "real" movie star.

R.I.P.
