I know his stepson and stepdaughter were abusing the poor guy, he is 90 years old. What I want to know is where was his wife Jan during all this. How could she let this happen. They seemed to be the ideal couple, they were always together for some 30 years; the two children were hers. Can't find any info in the news.
By the way, the press has his career all wrong, Rooney did not start show business when he was 7 years old, he started when he was 1 year old in New York on New Years Eve as a baby in a hat representing the new year at the vaudeville house where his parents were performing.
Abuse to the elderly is terrible. What about his wife...was she abused too? They both were all smiles at the Michael Jackson "This Is It" premiere so I guess the son allowed them to have one night of fun:
