No, im not talking about minor pecadillos that 'those darn kids' do ; Im speaking the severe moral degradation that has swept the Land because people could care less and to which you obviously embrace . Call it Post Modernism if you like ; it shall be the demise of America unless financial ruin gets to America first. end.

Can you give examples of moral degradation? And maybe leave celebrities out of it? Thanks.

Firstly, I need to correct a few things re: your initial statement: When you say "America," you really mean "The United States of America" aka the U.S.; America is the entire geographic area encompassing North, Central and South America.

Secondly, "we"? Speak for yourself. I have never glorified any degenerate and there are A LOT of people who do not care for the artists that you are alledging them to care about. Many people and/or groups have spoken out about the profanity, etc. in music and entertainment. Moreover, a lot of these famous artists only sell a million records; to date, there are 312,005,428 people living in the U.S.--hardly a "we" that is buying this music.

Lastly, you really need to understand that Hollywood and the entertainment industry is a world unto itself. Many times, it reflects what it prefers rather than what the country prefers. And it is very clever in projecting its likes and dislikes onto the entire population to the point that people actually think that the entire country likes (or dislikes) what they do. FYI, it doesn't.

If you don't like what is being produced, then don't buy it. Or better yet, produce something on your own that you do like. But please don't think that "we" buy the garbage that passes for entertainment (especially music) these days. Pop just happens to get the most press; that is its nature.

Actual talent is one thing.
But the recent glorifying of reality "stars" is completely different, and is disgusting.

Kate Gosselin pimping her children out so she can "make ends meet"? Freebies from the Phillies, American Girl, Crayola, Disney, etc??
Abercrombie and Fitch offering money to the "Situation" to not wear their clothes?

Really?
When so many Americans are in such awful financial straits?
