How do you know that Chaz Bono's DNA is female?

It was female at birth, just like the rest of her.

I have nothing against Chaz Bono or transgender people in general.

As a mom, I sure do feel for Cher. I don't care how progressive the world is, having one of your children do a gender change has to be a tough emotional road. Of course I would still love and support my child, but it would be a lot for me to cope with because even though your eyes see an adult, your heart always sees the little one you rocked and sang to. This changing from a girl to a boy messes up your mom memories.
I agree, it is one thing for a child to say they are gay, no big deal, but to have a gender transformation, yes, it is a lot to digest.

Is it any of our business, well no...but then it is in the media so we are into it....and we all have our opinions. I find Chaz very likeable, but I don't care what Doctors do, Chaz is still a girl.

I have a friend that has breats , but yet still has a penis.....every one calls him a her, but to me he is still a he.....sorry, you just can't change Mother nature, it just doesn't happen.....maybe you can fool her, but you can't change her.

I just hope that Chaz doesn't make a spectical of itself...I would feel bad, because i do like Chaz.

True about the DNA (chromosomes).

But if someone goes through all of the physical and psychological changes and pain that Chaz went through because they see themselves as male and want to be called a guy by society at large, the least I can do for Chaz is give him that.

Same with a man who becomes a transgender woman.

When Chastity was born, she had two X chromosomes.

To my knowledge, these tests are not given at birth and I don't remember Chaz's being published. Do you have a citation that you can post?

Chaz was born female, else he would not be transgender now. Chaz used to be Chastity. Why is this so hard?

I assume both she and her parents were told she was a girl when she was born. That would point to XX, rather than XY. XX=female.

I think Chaz is better looking as a male...I never could see the cuteness in Chastity, I may be alone in thinking this but I thought she was not a pretty child..otherwise I say whatever floats a person's boat is fine by me...and for as far as Cher getting used to having a son, things could be worse; at least she still has a child that's alive
