Mel has more money than God. I do not and did not approve of his antics and especially the Jewish comment but, I have to say, the man is talented in his field. I have never seen a Mel Gibson movie that I wasn't entertained. I do think he has gone around the bend or he's still up on Fools Hill or something...... |

I liked his movies as well, but nowadays it looks like he has more hair than brains...and that's not saying much.

If I had to decide what movie to see based on the actor's personal life or his/her views on politics and religion. I would probably watch a few movies a year.
His rants about Jews might be due to his religious beliefs or the movie industry being controlled by them and perhaps he got burned by them, who knows?
Either way, I don't care or think any less of him or his acting.
Almost everyone in this country is a little racist and/or prejudice imho.
Even if the person was never racist or prejudice, in this country, especially if the person is a foreigner or a minority, there will be some that will treat him/her with disregard, disdain and even with ill intentions and he/she can only ignore or not mind this type of a treatment for so long.
Eventually through numerous derogatory experiences and incidents, a person who might have never had any such feelings might become jaded if not consumed by a certain degree of racist and/or prejudice notions. Blah...blah...blah. I still think he is a good actor damn it!
