I think she deserves half. He cheated on her countless times while she was faithfully taking care of their kids. That's why he agreed to pay spousal support.
Didn't she get some stunning ring from him last time he got caught cheating? I remember as he gave his news conference pleading for forgiveness and her holding his hand, that sparkler was blinding everyone in the room.
She is a young, stunningly beautiful woman. There will be another rich man down the road. Hopefully, he will treat her better than the horndog she's currently divorcing.

She stuck around just long enough for it to be considered a lengthy marriage under CA law (no surprise she filed just after the 10 year mark) - this entitles here to a higher standard of alimony, pretty much for how long she needs for as long as he can pay
given that she's also going for controlling custody of their kids as well as some of the other factors she's got a boat load of leverage here ..... he's going to be cutting checks for a long time, paying out a massive settlement or both

Bingo! Especially the part of your statement that I bolded. Vanessa was a high school video skank when he met her. To date I believe that he remains alienated from his family because they were totally against the marriage. That should have been a red flag to stupid Kobe and his wandering genitals.
