no, I think she's truly and understandably upset but I also think she may need some rehab because from things I've read she may have a drug issue. I really hope the "good" people surround her and help her in whatever way she needs it.
Out of touch with reality, are we? I'm an adult and I would be devasted if anything happened to either of my parents (even in old age)! Her mother (famous or not) died suddenly, unexpectedly under some bizarre circumstance.
Who, in your world, would be prepared for that? Was your question a serious one?

I am hoping that grandmother and granddaughter will grow very close and that Ms. Cissy will be a strong influence on the kid.
She'll need some guidance. Her mother had issues, obviously, yet she was still an icon. I knew there was a daughter, but never really saw pictures or knew anything of her until this week. I was kind of shocked when I saw her--she certainly has neither her mother's beauty nor her mother's voice, and that alone must have given the girl self-esteem problems, and then to lose her mother, too? This girl is going to need some strong support.
Apparently you, OP, have been fortunate so far to have not experienced the death of one or both of your parents? Treasure that because you will be in for a big shock at how much it will hurt. Years of hurt, years of crying and calling out to your Mommy and/or Daddy. Drama Queen because she is hurting and crying? I cried for years over Momma and Daddy. Honey, I ain't no drama queen but I've been crying for 4 weeks now since my hubby died. I am in pain and I need to cry....so what?? Makes me feel better. If I wasn't so mad at your suggestion, I'd be crying right now just thinking about all my pain from death.
I'm hoping that Bobbi will live with either Cissy or Cee Cee (her godmother). There are a lot of really good people in her life. If she wants to be helped then she will be.
No, I don't think she is a drama queen. She and her mother lived together in Atlanta. They were very close. She is heart-broken.
She lost her mother and someone was dumb enough to ask if she was a drama queen? Wow. I thought I was heartless and cynical.
