I'm too old for Clooney, but he seems like he'd be fun. Brad is a wannabee Clooney who occasionally lets his raggedy edges show. He seems nice enough, but he doesn't do it for me. Now Firth, Denzel, Jackman and after seeing Dujardin smooch the hand of the tv host, him too.
I have loved Brad Pitt since Thelma & Louise and I still think he is absolutely adorable. I jsut saw him on Inside the Actor's Studio and I love him even more. So easy going, funny, down to earth and humble.
I adore him!
Brad all the way. FOREVER MORE.
Even though Clooney and Brad both, IMO, appear to be decent human beings, I've never really been much attracted to GC. Clooney is handsome, but ever since ER, just couldn't get past the cockiness of the character that also emanated to his off screen persona. I agree, GC, is aging well. Brad did look a little scruffy in this past weeks photo ops, but BP is still absolutely gorgeous.
On another note, Last year one of my physical therapist is a spliting image of George Clooney, in appearance and personality.
I'm not concerned about personality, because it's not as if I'm in a position to date either one in real life, anyway. However, based on my idea of attractiveness I'd pick Clooney, because I find his features to be classic and natural. He's attractive with/without a suit and with/without facial hair. An actor in the most recent People Magazine mentioned Clooney was attractive without makeup, and he both admired that and felt depressed at the same time... . This is a man that always seems to look great no matter what he does (or doesn't) wear. He just can't seem to physically feign ugliness: I can't think of many actors/men that are like that... .
The close ups of his face in A River Runs Through It. The expressions. The eyes. That movie had great photography that caught a "sparkle" inside him. Ever since that movie, I wish directors would do close ups like that.
Funny, the entire time I was reading this thread, I was thinking of Brad Pitt in that very movie (one of my favorites). He looked terrific in that movie...like a younger version of Robert Redford. Not a big fan of his present day scraggly-hair-and-beard look, though.
I think between the two, taking in physical appearance, personality and intelligence...George Clooney is my favorite.
Both dull boys, with no depth. Give me Paul Newman!
