some things should be kept private. This is a prime example of "one of those times"

I found it rather odd and off putting ( but then again the whole child rearing is off putting to me, the idea of chaging a Nappy or a child being sick over me makes me gag...) and would personally not use this method to feed my child if I had one, however as long as it does not harm the child I think there are far worse things to do to a kid.

Pre chewing food for Babies ( Alicia Silverstone is not regurgitating just pre chewing it) is very common in many tribes around the world. It has been used as a method of making food more digestible for infants since the dawn of time and is still used.

Not my cup of tea but not exactly a unique way to feed a Baby either. I don't get Vegans but I actually liked her blog ,she seems like a down to earth decent person trying to do what she believes is right and I can't really argue with that, even if she named her Child Bear ! I would take a well intentioned nice human being actress over one of those spoilt celebrity brats who only think of shopping , drinking , drugs and bling any day.

When I saw the title I first thought she was feeding a Bear Cub from her mouth which would be pretty weird indeed.

When you post it for the public to see then it becomes public business.

I saw a piece of this on the TV.
I was absolutely horrified!!!

This is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, it almost made me throw up.

What the hell is wrong with this woman???

The child is not a bird.

and how did this get on a video, who was the moron filming this.

this has to be the most REVOLTING THING I have ever seen a mother do to a child.

Ugh !!!! I could absolutely vomit from this I can't even think about it anymore.

I feel like punching her right in the face she is a freaking moron!!!

Can this be child abuse, can we call CPS??? I really would.

While I have no wish to eat out of anybody's mouth myself, it doesn't bother me one bit. As somebody else said, prechewing has been done around the world, so even if not normal here, she's not totally out in left field. Personally, I'd use the food processor, but the kid looks healthy, happy, and loved, and that's what's most important.

That's what I thought too, and oddly enough it would have been more interesting, lol.

Generally I ignore anything that celebrities say or do, and this is just one more reason, atop a mountain of other reasons.
